West Texas Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing multispecialty clinic in Brownwood, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking to begin in a part-time role with the potential to transition into a full-time position as our patient population continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan
  • Perform preventive health exams, routine physicals, and follow-up visits
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with state regulations
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current Texas NP or PA license (or ability to obtain before employment)
  • Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care
  • Previous outpatient or primary care experience preferred

West Texas Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our busy and growing pediatric clinic. If you’re passionate about caring for children and building lasting relationships with families in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality primary care to infants, children, and adolescents
  • Perform well-child exams, sick visits, and developmental screenings
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on health, wellness, and prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Charge Poster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role involves extensive data entry and supports our billing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post medical charges accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure data integrity for all billing entries
  • Utilize electronic health records (Athena)
  • Collaborate with front desk and billing teams for smooth workflow
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Experience:
    • Prior medical charge posting experience (preferred)
    • Familiarity with EHR and medical billing software
    • Clerical or business office background
